Dietary fiber is a complex carbohydrate only found in plant foods. Though humans are not able to digest fiber, it provides a lot of essential health benefits. Fiber also aids in lowering and controlling levels of blood sugar and also helps in controlling blood cholesterol levels.

Jasmine rice, especially the brown jasmine rice; provides necessary B vitamins which are essential for the body. Vitamins do not provide a source of energy for the body. However, they are necessary for the body's cell production, metabolism and several other vital processes.
-Beneficial for Diabetic Patients:
It is known to be healthy and useful for the patients with diabetes. Diabetic patients require to follow a low glycemic index diet, and most varieties of white rice are not suitable for such patients. But brown jasmine rice is much safer and healthier for diabetic patients as compared to the white jasmine rice.

Minerals aid in forming our body's structure and also help in the functioning of our body's system. A human body needs only a small amount of minerals, and Jasmine rice provides a sufficient amount of minerals which is essential for our overall body health.
